Arcade Fire, Brixton Academy, 14 March 2007. When they were good they were outrageous, and the rest of the set seemed to join the dots. Annoyingly it seemed like a bit of an off night for them, but I am judging them by their own very high standards. I took about 90 shots, desperately trying to get something out of where i was sat, but most turned out below average. I really like this one though, seems to capture the atmosphere during 'Power Out' towards the end of the set when everything just came together. See the detail by viewing it large.

A bloody good show, the buzz was amazing with young emo kids passing out before MCR had even got to the stage! Unfortunately I only had my little point and shoot with me, so I played at being one of the saddos half way back - but I did at least turn the flash off and it wasn't a mobile phone! I actually quite like this one.
