Brabrand
Brabrand is a town 6 km west of Aarhus which became a suburb of Århus in 1970. South of the town lies the lakes "Brabrand Sø" and "Aarslev Engsoe", which is the largest recreational areas of Aarhus County. The town was founded in the 18th century by means of burning the forest (the name reflects this), initially based mainly on farmers and associated trades (...)- - get the feeling of the east, in the middle of Denmark

- Brabrand Kirke - the local church with an impressive view of Brabrand Sø (Brabrand lake). The Romanesque part of the church was originally only 20 meters long.
