This airplane is the same model as the one Howard Hughes flew around the world in 1938. This particular one is sitting at Bowman Field without its engines and basically falling apart. The folks at Central American Airways are the owners by default, since no one else is claiming it. They stated that a museum had expressed interest in it but never came to pick it up.
