Boundary Bay Airport (IATA: YDT, ICAO: CZBB) is located beside Boundary Bay in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, south of Vancouver and close to the U.S. border. The airport, which opened 11 July 1983, serves mostly general aviation and includes facilities for aircraft maintenance, flight training, parking, and Air traffic control training. Boundary Bay is Canada's fifth busiest airport by total aircraft movements, and the busiest airport by number of circuits. From this, Boundary Bay is often cited as Canada's busiest "training airport".

It's been a long time since I was in a small airplane, and boy do I ever miss it ! I cropped out part of the take off roll as I thought there was a thirty second time limit on flickr, turns out it's you are allowed up to 90 seconds. It's better this way anyway as it takes a while for the 172 to get up to speed.

This young eagle got it's share of the hunt. It landed on a pole across the street from me no more than 20 yards away. I am guessing the prey was a duck. This piece seemed to be more bone and feathers than meat.

performed by my buddy steve, we spun, spun, spun towards the ground in a 172. after several attempts and becoming rather nauseated, this was the best shot i could muster

I think he wanted to take a bath but there was to much activity around him. Notice that the protective membrane is covering the eye while he's drinking.
