DIY striplight

Simple strip light made of cardboard box. The interior is covered with alu sheets, and the active part is made of 3 layers of tracing sheet. I use a ball-bungie thing to make it steady on my 430EX (it's sized to fit my 580EX II). Note that zooming the flash to the maximum (105mm) give the best results in term of light homogeneity. Test shot .


Bleeding glass

Creme in water/gin mix. Strobist: double layer of A4 tracing paper just filling the frame as background. 430ex 1/8 (?) at 70mm from behind (about 50cm). Glasses stand on a thick piece of glass. PS: contrast and background cleaning, and desaturation of some chromatic aberrations (these glasses are really poor lenses :))
