Creepiest hotel on the planet in one of the creepiest towns in the U.S. When we stayed here the hotel would stop on floors that didn't exist and that didn't have any lights. The locals told us that at night, we shouldn't stop at any of the red lights in town. That may have seemed dangerous save for the fact that we generally did not see any other cars on the road after dark.

The new skeleton condos are less than l/2 a mile from the old skelton condo building that is being imploded this Saturday. These yellow thingies are decorative pieces from the Convention Hall that need repairing.

Berkeley-Carteret Hotel. It was a grand hotel 50 years ago. Now, it's just a dump beyond any hope of restoration.
