Batumi (Georgian: , formerly Batum or Batoum) is a seaside city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia. It has a population of 121,806 (2002 census).
The Sea: In Batumi self you can enjoy the waves and admire the oil port. Between Poti and Batumi lies Kobuleti, a inspireless beach resort, where many Georgians and Armenians spend their holidays. There is not much to be seen, beside the pebble beach. To the south of Batumi the coast is supposed to be more spectaculair.
Eat at the restaurants scattered in mountains. The views and nature are spectacular.
