Church in Old Havana, Cuba. The thing that amazed me about this church, other than the fantastic lighting, is the fresco on the far wall. It uses forced perspective to trick the viewer into thinking the space is bigger than it is. The room actually ends at the last large column on the left and the far wall cuts across at an angle to the right. You can get an idea by looking at the ceiling joists that intersect the angled wall. The idea of the fresco isn't what's interesting, it's the fact that the painter could pull off the illusion on an angled wall. In person it's incredible.
