Bamford
Bamford is a village in the Derbyshire Peak District, England, lying on the River Derwent, served by Bamford railway station on the Hope Valley Line. The village, which lies under the Bamford Edge cliffs, is the location of the water treatment works covering the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden Reservoirs. Flagstone Wall at the rear of the Golf Course, Springfield Park, heading down towards the River Roche. Several sections still standing but in a sorry state, surrounded by woodland only the occasional golfer looking for his stray shots passes this way. Sad really.
