Children release baby sea turtles out to the sea. These turtles live their whole lives out in the oceans only to return to the exact beach where they embarked to lay their own eggs. Turtles use the earths magnetic fields to navigate and mark this beach, they must crawl through the sand to get their bearings, so the children stay back, release the turtles and watch them slip under the waves. These babies sprint so fast by the time you get your composition and focus and exposure, theyre gone from the frame. I was so tempted to pick one up and just fix him in the frame but did not. I wanted it real, as it happened, when it happened.
