the shore on the far left of this photo is scarily near north korea. apparently their part of changbai shan is full of monuments celebrating the various tussocks of grass upon which their beloved leader and national father stood as he pondered his next act of calamitous genius. the myth goes that he was born on the slopes of changbai shan, thus equipping him with his superhuman visionary abilities
