A cobra rises from the basket of a snake charmer in Jaipur, south of Delhi. Many Indians make a living displaying such spectacles in the streets of Indian cities. I was very close to the snake with a wide angle lens when I took this. Afterwards, I wondered if he'd had his venom sacs removed. (Scan from original black and white negative)
