Two young brahmin in the sunset… they come to fetch a pot of holy water for evening rituals. Water is worshipped as the very ingredient of any life in the universe, and in most religion. Without water, no life can maintain itself. In hinduism, this element is associated to Lord Vishnu, one of the three principles of Trimurti -creation, conservation, transformation- represented by Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva.

Keep walking along Ganga, you'll come to Prabhu ghat. Prabhu is one of the word used to say god. Here you'll find the washerman in the morning, splashing clothe on stones. When the river is at low level, it leaves the stairs covered with mud : when Ganga gets hight during monsoon, brings all that limon. From end of october to beginning of march is the best time to visit and see the ghat.
