Awala-Yalimapo
Awala-Yalimapo is an Amerindian village (Amerindians kaliña) and a commune on the north coast of French Guiana, close to the border with Suriname. It is French Guiana's northern-most settlement, located just to the south of the country's northern-most point Plage le Hattes, the world’s largest leatherback turtle nesting site.
