Green cliffs of Rarotonga
Made by Andrei Z
First day on Rarotonga. Got on a bus and went to Avarua, the capital of Cook Islands, to get some supplies. This is the view of the interior mountains which sit in the middle of the island. There are only a couple of main roads, circling the island and all the settlements are arranged alongside those. This is photo #208 in my series.

The island nights in Rarotonga are legendary, combining native food, music, drumming, dancing, and sometimes fire breathing or more. We went to Staircase Bar in Avarua, which had a great dance troop performing. This is photo #211 in my series.
