The people who work in the Cathedral of Seville are very vigilant about visiting hours and actually rushed us out after we had barely been inside to witness its enormity. El Archivo de Indios (Indian Archive) is right next door to the cathedral but was closed both in 1998 and 2002 when I came excitedly to see what was inside. I suppose its fitting that Christopher Columbus' tomb is kept inside the cathedral near the archive.
