Amrum (Öömrang North Frisian: Oomram) is one of the North Frisian Islands on the German coast of the North Sea. It is part of the Nordfriesland district in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein. Its area is 20 km², and its population is 2,400.

Da ich grippemäßig verhindert bin, mit meiner Ausrüstung durch die Natur zu streifen, gibt es wieder etwas aus der Klamottenkiste. Habe da wieder etwas nettes von unserem Urlaub auf Föhr im Herbst letztes Jahres gefunden. Aufgenommen am Strand bei Utersum auf Föhr. Soundtrack: The future Kings of England - Dunwich vom aktuellen Album The fate of old mother orvis. Fast nur instrumental, irgendwo zwischen Sigur Ros und Pink Floyd. You can book a guided hike between the two Islands of Föhr and Amrum at lowtide, when there are only small rivers (called Priel) are all that is left - no sea ... This shot shows a group on such a tour while the sea is drawn away from the shore by the gravity influences of the moon.
