American Airlines Center 2500 Victory Avenue Dallas, Texas 75219 The American Airlines Center was designed by David M. Schwarz Architectural Services, Inc. and HKS, Inc. The home of the Dallas Mavericks and Stars is constructed of brick, limestone, and granite. The center houses approximately 2,000 seats and 840,000 square feet. In celebration of the American Institute of Architects' 150th Anniversary, its members chose their 150 favorite U. S. structures. The American Airlines Center placed at #118.

Last summer, I was fortunate enough to spend a Sunday afternoon poolside at the new W Hotel at Victory Park in Dallas. The pool area is located on the sixteenth floor of the hotel, which is where I took this photo from on June 25, 2006. I had just started out with my camera last year and was pretty clueless regarding editing, etc. In the last six months, I (hopefully) have gained some skills to make revisiting them worthwhile.
