AMA Building

Kenzo Tange, a noted Japanese architect, creator of the Hiroshima Peace Center and winner of the 1987 Pritzker Architecture Prize, designed the 30-story AMA Building shown in this photograph. The building with its distinctive 4 story opening was Tange's first U.S. commission. A small, wonderfully landscaped park sits on the southwest corner of the property.
