Albina is a town in Suriname, located in the district of Marowijne.Albina is the capital of the district of Marowijne. The town lies on the west bank of the Marowijne river (Maroni river), which forms the border with French Guiana, directly opposite the French Guianan town of St Laurent du Maroni, which it is connected to by a frequent ferry service. Marowijne is in the East of Suriname.The Creek Hotel/Guesthouse is located in the town.
