Most maps of Buenos Aires are confusingly oriented with southwest pointing up so that the water is at the bottom. Even the map in our book was oriented this way, which made it kind of a pain to reconcile with the maps and GPS on my phone. But note: I said most maps were oriented that way. About 1 in 5 had North pointing up, just to mess with you. Here's one now.
