Tower at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Fair Park is a 277 acre (1.12 km²) recreational and educational complex located in Dallas, Texas (USA). The complex is registered as a National Historic Landmark and is home to nine museums, six performance facilities, a lagoon, and the largest ferris wheel in North America. Many of the buildings on the complex were constructed for the Texas Centennial Exposition in 1936 which drew over six million visitors. Another sunset view of Fountain Place from my window. Fountain Place, located at 1445 Ross Avenue in the Arts District of downtown Dallas is a 62-story modern skyscraper. Standing at a structural height of 720 feet, it is the fifth-tallest skyscraper in Dallas. (Excluding antennas and spires, Fountain Place is currently the 4th tallest building in Dallas.) This skyscraper was created by award winning architect, I.M. Pei, was ready for occupancy August 1986. The base of the structure is surrounded by hundreds of fountains situated in a park-like setting.
