The train information board inside the beautiful train station. I arrived from Savanna GA via the Silver Meteor, after taking the City of New Orleans Train to New Orleans. The cancelled Crescent due to a fowled main line in Louisiana is indicated on the board. I decided that I was going to find a way to go by train so I decided to catch a bird to Savanna from New Orleans and then had a very good ride up the east coast on the Meteor. Taking an unusual situation and thinking on my feet, I got it to work for me! :-)

30th Street Station, Philadelphia: This statue of the archangel Michael lifting the body of a dead soldier out of the flames of war honors Pennsylvania Railroad War employees killed in World War II. It was sculpted by Walker Hancock in 1950.
