Only a short distance from the historic Haussmann heart of tourist Paris lies a typical modern city with typical modern problems, perhaps exemplified by this stolen and wrecked Citroen XM, abandoned within sight of the Eiffel Tower outside the Maison de Radio-France on the Avenue du President Kennedy. And yes, hydropneumatic Citroen fans, tragically, this is really is an example of what was the daddy of the XM range, one of the magnificent 3-litre 24-valve V6 models, complete with wood and leather interior, ironically dumped just across the River Seine from the Quai Andre Citroen. Almost heartbreaking to see a car I'd love to own in such a state...although at least it wasn't a CX or DS. Taken in Paris, France on September 10, 2006.

Dear friends, Found this one in my archives from 2006, but never posted it because I was not happy with the light of the different exposures. Today I used the digital blending on it (3 jpeg exposures - I used to shoot only in jpeg at this period, grrrrr....lol) Strange for me to have soft colours results! LOL Hope you enjoy your sunday :-) personal message (concerned people will recognize themselves) : all in the mud! :-))))

Processing through my Paris Backlog... The Villa in Auteuil, Paris was built for two families in 1925. This is the La Roche house. The room is built to house the wealthy banker's art collection The place is a work of art in itself . Wherever you go the Golden Section is apparent including in this pic.....
