Designed by Fox & Fowle, the 48 story skyscraper at 4 Times Square was completed in 2000. It is one of the best examples of large-scale green design in the United States, including gas fired absorption chillers and an insulating and shading curtain wall that ensures the building does not need to be heated or cooled for most of the year.
