(30/365) One of the few things I needed to accomplish before leaving China was to partake in the wedding ritual of taking extremely cheesey Chinese wedding pictures. Here I am in the photo studio, where they dolled me up and made me look like a Chinese robot girl. I never wear make-up, so the thick layer of yuckiness on my face confused the heck out of me. I'll post the pics when they get printed, but I really think that Daniel and I made the best fake engaged couple!
Chinese Students and their Comic Book Zine!

I did a lesson about independant publishing and had all the students draw a page for a comic book zine. They all had to create their own superhero and the story was about how their superhero could make China into a better country. Some examples: Heaven wrote about a dog who destroyed bad officials. Lyre created a butterfly creature that helped the environment.

These guys weren't part of the crowd hanging out in front of the bar. They were just a couple o' dudes hanging out in their shorts on the lawn cause it was hot out and they were too hot to contain themselves.
