Old Japanese Tea House in the Koudaiji Temple's garden www.kodaiji.com/ 秀吉とねね様ゆかりのお寺・高台寺のお庭にて。 すごくちいちゃくてかわいいの。 でも、実は高台寺より塔頭の圓徳院（北政所＝ねね様終焉の地）が好きだったり。 こじんまりとしてるけど魅力が凝縮されてる。 壁にかけてある歌人の絵、襖、お庭、全体的に好き＝圓徳院。
Beware of fake geisha

When I saw two geisha walk by outside our ryokan, I got thought I'd caught a really lucky break to photograph some. Too bad for me that they weren't real geisha! In Kyoto, you can pay to dress up as a geisha and walk around parts of the town, all the while having your picture taken. These ladies were doing just that. Even if they weren't real geisha, though, it was fun to take pictures.

A little tea house at the Kodaiji Temple. It felt like being in a miniature world or Disney world when I first saw this little building. I was expecting dwarfs to come out of it any minute.
