I can't decide which of these I like--this one focuses more on the contrast directly--the shrine and the high rise. The second one is a better picture, though, overall, but perhaps this one is a better composition since both elements are equal, and the statement is clear. Or is it better to have the skyscraper a little less dominant but still very obvious?

A shrine just near one of the piers along the Bangkok River. For all the rush and madness of Bangkok, it was nice to find a simple quite place with only the sound of the river and the spiritual feel of this small Buddhist shrine
