Standing empty above the temple grounds this seven-storied wonder to Vishnu attracts the odd devotee. As gathering places for people from near and afar, temple grounds are festive with vendors, food, beggars, and community. Discontent is left at home when one comes to the market.

Hidden on one side of the palace was this spectacular wall of tiles. I close my eyes trying to conjure up the rich tiles that adorned the exterior of the palace contrasting with hot summer skies and warm red-orange walls.
