Zelionyj (Green) or Policejskij (Police) Bridge (1806) on Mojka River, architect: William (Vasilij Ivanovič) Hastie. First, wooden bridge on this place was built in 1716 at the same time when Nevskij Avenue was built. In 1730s the bridge was painted in green; and due to this fact it was «baptized». In the 1806 new iron bridge constructed by W. Hastie replaced the old one. The bridge was widened several times: in 1842 and in 1904–1907. During the last reconstruction lanterns by architect L. Iljin was installed on the bridge. St. Petersburg, Russia
